Jiangsu Honggang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Is mainly responsible for the construction and operation of PTA project. The scale of the first phase project is 1,500,000 tons of PTA per year, mainly including PTA main unit, auxiliary production unit and supporting public works. This project mainly provides raw materials for the chemical fiber industry of Shenghong Group, which was completed and put into operation in July 2014. The PTA unit with an annual output of 2,400,000 tons in the second phase is under construction, and planned to be completed in 2020.
